Due to the uncertainties around the COVID variants and vaccination rates, the SYNC 2021 Conference will be held virtually on September 21 – 22 with several plenary sessions and special SYNC sessions, all addressing ending the epidemics. The virtual platform will be easy to navigate and will have many features to enhance your virtual experience, including connecting with other attendees, viewing poster presentations and watching on-demand sessions you may have missed. SYNC 2021 will include both live and pre-recorded presentations as webinars with live Q & A text chat with speakers.

No. The virtual conference platform is browser-based and mobile-friendly. All you will need is a device (desktop, laptop, tablet or phone) and an internet connection.

Google Chrome is the recommended browser for this platform. Some features may not work properly if you use other browsers.

The SYNC 2021 Virtual Conference Platform will go live at 2:00 PM ET on Monday, September 20th. Registrants are encouraged to test their access in advance of the start of the conference.

Visit Live.SYNC2021.org and enter the email address that you used to register.

Update Your Profile & Preferences: Once you have logged into the platform you can complete your user profile and upload your photo by clicking the dropdown arrow on the right side of the top menu bar.

Explore the Venue: Use the navigation menu at the top of the page to visit the separate theatres for Plenary Sessions and SYNC Sessions & Institutes (under the Sessions tab on the menu). Learn about all the conference presenters by clicking the Speakers tab. Visit the Poster Hall to find posters and presentations on a variety of topics and chat with the individual authors daily during the afternoon breaks. Be sure to check out the Resource Library for an array of useful resources such as fact sheets, videos, toolkits, trainings, etc.

The conference agenda is set for Eastern Time.

No. Since the conference is virtual, you do not need to register for or select ahead of time the sessions that you want to attend. You can move around from session to session within the virtual platform and you will have an opportunity to view any sessions you missed on-demand after the conference.

We hope you will be able to join us for the full dynamic conference however we understand that is not always possible with everyone’s busy schedules. The good news is that all sessions will be available to paid registrants to watch on-demand post-conference.

Yes. All sessions will have a Q&A feature that will allow attendees to communicate and ask questions via a text chat message board. All tracks and institutes will be simulive, meaning a recording will be played at a specific time and the speakers will be available to answer questions throughout the entire session.

Yes. Conference attendees will be able to connect with other attendees, sponsors and speakers through one-on-one or group text, as well as video messaging.

Yes. Registrants will be able to earn as many as 13 credit hours during the live conference and will be able to earn additional credits by watching sessions on-demand after the conference. SYNC 2021 will be offering the following credit types:

  • Social Worker Continuing Pharmacy Education
