Daniela P. Simba
Hands United
Daniela Simba is a native Ecuadorian woman of the transgender experience whose main goal is to create a so much-needed cultural change in our local, national, and global communities as much as possible. Her unique career path has a meaningful impact in the awareness of the more pressing issues of the LGB communities, women, and minorities, but especially Trans and gender variant communities. She has worked to eradicate homelessness and in the public health arena to implement the Trans Healthcare curriculum. During her free time, she loves gardening, illustrating, and working on DIY projects she finds online. Her vision and long term goal is to amplify the education around Trans/GNC health issues to more agencies, service providers, and the community at large. In her own words: “Trans resilience is the reflection of how diverse and how united we could be at the same time.”
