
Murray Penner
Executive Director, Prevention Access Campaign (PAC) / U=U
Murray Penner is U.S. Executive Director for the Prevention Access Campaign (PAC) and the U=U campaign. Murray served as Executive Director at NASTAD from 2015-2018 and served as its Deputy Executive Director and director of care & treatment program from 2001-2015. Murray has strong expertise and experience in HIV and hepatitis treatments, the Ryan White Program, and drug pricing and serves on the boards of ATAC and HarborPath. Murray has a bachelor’s degree in social work from Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas. He is a strong advocate for the rights of people with HIV have unfettered access to ARVs and the services and programs that support them in remaining healthy. Living with HIV since 1986, Penner has a deep personal interest in helping people achieve sexual health and well-being and reducing HIV stigma and shame.
