Medical Peer Program Manager at Community AIDS Network/CAN Community Health

Valerie Wojciechowicz has been in the HIV field for 25 years and currently manages The Medical Peer Program at CAN Community Health. Her desire to help improve the lives of People Living with HIV is evident. She strives to erase stigma and help others see the value of eliminating Stigmatizing Language in HIV. 

Her experiences as a Long-Term Survivor, living with HIV for 35 years, motivate her to work tirelessly locally, statewide and nationally. Valerie uses her experience to educate, advocate and provide support. She is extremely passionate about improving the quality of life and education for the HIV and AIDS communities and plans to continue working toward these goals.
